Make Your Own Calendula Salve
Saturday, June 7th · 6:30 PM, at the Gainesville Giving Garden
Join us for a hands-on workshop with Felicity Clarke — horticulturist, artist, and astrologer — as she walks us through how to make a simple, effective calendula salve using organically grown flowers from the Giving Garden.
Calendula salve is a gentle, multipurpose ointment known for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiviral properties. It’s great for minor cuts, burns, scrapes, diaper rash, eczema, acne- even tattoo aftercare!
Felicity will demonstrate the process of making a clean, natural salve — teaching us all the tips and tricks of her extensive experience. You’ll leave with the knowledge to make your own at home- plus a tin of salve you crafted yourself.
You will receive:
Step-by-step instruction from Felicity
All materials (including locally grown calendula)
a beautiful take-home salve
Light drink refreshments
This is a great opportunity to learn a practical skill, connect with others, support local food justice, and enjoy the garden ambiance on an early summer evening.
Space is limited — RSVP below!
